gsd 1.2.2 (2012-04-20)

This is the 1.2.2 release of the Greenbone Security Desktop (GSD) for the Open
Vulnerability Assessment System release 4 (OpenVAS-4) and release 5 (OpenVAS-5).

This version primarily fixes an issue with report download and improves
compatibility with OMP versions of OpenVAS-4 and OpenVAS-5.

gsd 1.1.0 (2011-02-11)

This is the first release of the Greenbone Security Desktop (GSD) 1.1 for the Open
Vulnerability Assessment System release 4 (OpenVAS-4). GSD is the graphical user
front-end to access OpenVAS Manager services.

Release 1.1 switches from protocol OpenVAS Management Protocl (OMP) 1.0 to
OMP 2.0 and therfore makes new features of OpenVAS Manager available in the GUI.

Main changes compared to 1.0.x:

* Added man page to gsd.
* Removed OMP 1.0 compatibility.

gsd 1.0.0 (2010-12-01)

This is the 1.0.0 release of the Greenbone Security Desktop (GSD)
for the Open Vulnerability Assessment System (OpenVAS).

The mission of GSD is to allow users to organize their vulnerability
management on their desktop without the need of a web browser.
This desktop client interacts with OpenVAS Manager using the
OpenVAS Management Protocol (OMP).

GSD makes the functionality of OMP available in desktop-integrated
application. GSD 1.0 support OMP 1.0 and parts of the upcoming
OMP 2.0. GSD runs on various Windows, MacOSX, GNU/Linux and other
unixoid operating systems.

gsa-desktop 0.1.0 (2010-07-29)

This is the first public release of the gsa-desktop module for the Open
Vulnerability Assessment System (OpenVAS).

gsa-desktop is intended to be an OMP compatible client for OpenVAS. Please note
that a running OMP service like openvas-manager is required to use gsa-desktop.

Keep in mind that gsa-desktop is in an early stage and does not yet cover the
full functionality provided by OMP.
